Apple iPhone Views Zone

Ever since Google has gotten into the cell phone industry with the release of Google Nexus, Apple Google rivalry seems to become worse. At the moment Google is the default search engine on iPhones. But, now this will not be the case.

Most probably Apple will group up with Microsoft and set Bing as the default search engine for iPhone users. For those who remain dubious what Bing is: Bing like google is a search engine from Microsoft. What sets Bing apart from other search engines like Yahoo, Google is its visual functions. The background of the Bing home page changes often and you will find info shared about the picture and things related to it. However, the search results are not that good when compared to Google. Nevertheless, one should definitely check out Bing for its design (Personally, I use BIng only for its homepage).

Going back to our subject, Bing may take the place of Google on iPhones. This may be a great loss to Google and a big gain to Microsoft. A while ago Google and Apple were two biggies of two totally different industries. but now Google has got into the Mobile market and may be in future it might also give hard competition to Apple. (Though presently there is no Smartphone which is as desirable as iPhone. Blackberry is there, but caters to a particular segment as opposed to iPhone which is coveted by one and all.) The guys at iphonehelp say if change inthe search engine takes place, Microsoft may become the majorsearch engine tending to overtake Google.

Doubtful what they mean by ‘overtake’: Only for iPhone people or will it also change the usage routine on Desktops and Laptops.  And if that occurs, that will be news. After all decade of being used to Google, will shifting to Bing seem alright? I realize I just said I like Bing but not as much as Google.
